It wouldn't be surprising to know that even in Rome (or in Italy in totality), people celebrate the Fourth of July. There are special celebrations around and they observe it like how most of American does it in US. So if you're around Rome on the 4th, you can get the perfect apartment in Rome for you. Just so you know, there are great accommodations in Rome in Piazza Navona. It would be perfect and it would be really nice if you stay more than a day in the place (other than just the Fourth of July). After all, the Rome holiday apartment in Piazza Navona are made affordable for short or long stays. Surely there's more to the 4th that you would want to enjoy so you might want to stay there longer.
So how does Rome, Italy celebrate the fourth?
It's simple. It's more on outdoor activities. There would probably be a little commemoration at the American Embassy before all the festivities started. Then afterwards, people go out and go have a picnic, some barbecue, and other outdoor activities.
But one thing's for sure, just like any other celebration, the Fourth of July comes with fireworks. On July 2, Saturday, there would be a huge fireworks showdown in commemoration of the Fourth of July. Here are the details for the event:
